I hate to see Pakistan play cricket- you are rarely certain who they are playing for- in other words, who is pulling the strings. Their win against Australia means that they will play their Quarter Final match against England in Sri Lanka. Pakistan might lose to any team in the world on their bad day, or good day- depending on who gets what-, and hopefully England will shove them out of the Cup. They should. Though they are missing Broad, Swann is doing a great job and Anderson is quite capable of a destructive spell or two, but they have to get their batting right.
Pakistan's win is bad news for India. If we win today, we will play Australia next, and if we lose, it will be Sri Lanka. I want to think Australia is living on its reputation, and Sri Lanka is merely a dangerous customer. Given India's bowling woes, I'd rather we play Australia: but then, how well will we play Tait, Lee and Mitchell Johnson?
